 SYLLABUS  AND   EXAM PATTERN FOR PGECET 2013 :

Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) will be conducted by A.P.S.CH.E, Andhra Pradesh Board of Higher Education. Generally this review (PGECET) is performed for admissions to PG regular course in engineering, technology, architecture, pharmacy and Planning (ME / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy / M.Arch / M. Tech. / M . Plg. / graduates Pharm-D) (post baccalaureate) courses. PGECET entrance exam pattern and details are given below Syllabus.  SYLLABUS  AND ENTRANCE TEST EXAM PATTERN FOR  PGECET 2013 : 
  • In PGECET examinations each paper consists of maximum 120 minutes and 120 marks.
  • PGECET question papers will be given in objective type.
  • The candidates need to mark the correct answer by darkening the appropriate bubble on an OMR sheet with HB Pencil only
  • OMR Answer Sheets will be given to the candidates with the Question Booklet

Category1:  Conventional Courses:
  • AR: Architecture and Planning
  • AS: Aerospace Engineering
  • BT: Bio Technology
  • BM: Bio Medical Engineering
  • CE: Civil Engineering
  • CH: Chemical Engineering
  • CS: Computer Science & Information Technology
  • EC: Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • EE: Electrical Engineering
  • EI: Instrumentation Engineering
  • ME: Mechanical Engineering
  • MT: Metallurgy
  • PY: Pharmacy
Category2: Specialized Courses:
  • EM: Environmental Management
  • GG: Geo Engineering & Geo Informatics
  • NT: Nano Technology
Category3: Inter disciplinary Courses:
  • No separate examination test will be conducted for this category.
  • It is based on relative ranking (percentile score) of eligible PGECET test papers.
